Primary Shared Server Migration Planned

On January 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM UTC, all hosting accounts on our primary shared hosting server to a newly provisioned server.

Out of an abundance of caution, we ask that customers do not modify anything on their websites from January 17, 2026 to January 20, 2026, 12 AM UTC

We understand the short notice, so we want to be fully transparent about the situation. As you may be aware due to recent intermittent downtime, the current shared server has recently been affected by a CloudLinux OS bug that causes intermittent system crashes. This bug is tied to a very specific combination of CloudLinux 9 running on specific Ryzen 9 hardware. To be clear, this is not a widespread problem -- across our entire infrastructure, only this one is impacted by this specific CloudLinux build. All others continue to operate normally, and this is considered to be an edge case situation.

We had been working with the data center and the software vendor, including senior development, but as of now, CloudLinux has not yet provided a resolution or a patch for this issue. Continuing to wait for an upstream fix would risk further downtime for our clients.

Uptime and stability are our top priorities. When a software vendor issue is outside our direct control, we act quickly to implement a workaround that is within our control. In this case, the safest and most reliable solution is to migrate all accounts to a freshly deployed server which is running a confirmed stable CloudLinux version not affected by this bug.

While the migration is driven by stability concerns, the good news is that the new server does include a small hardware improvement, as it is powered by the newer AMD Ryzen 9 9950X CPU, providing a slight performance uplift compared to the 7950X processor that the current server is using.

- AMD Ryzen 9950X processor
- Enterprise-grade NVMe storage – 2x Enterprise NVMe drives in RAID-1 (Ensuring redundancy)
- 128 GB DDR5 RAM – for better performance and fault tolerance
- Operating System: CloudLinux 9 (stable build unaffected by the above mentioned edge case bug)
- All existing features remain available: LiteSpeed, Softaculous, LSCache, JetBackup (daily), MailBaby, Sitejet AI Website Builder, cpGuard, etc.

Migration Schedule:

- Start Date and Time: January 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM UTC
- Estimated Duration: 12-24 hours
- Expected Downtime: In most cases, downtime is not expected, as the old server will remain online throughout the migration.  We will notify our customers who require the new server's IP address: 206.168.149.90, otherwise the experience will be seamless.

We appreciate your understanding as we take the necessary steps to ensure your hosting environment remains stable, secure, and reliable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
