Tonight's upgrade attempt with our mail server operating system did not go as planned. We are re-scheduling the upgrade (by backing up, doing a clean installation of the OS and restoring all data) on Saturday August 2, at 10:00pm, lasting til approximately 3AM Sunday morning. What's nice is that we have the core OS and data on different disks, so it should be only slightly more time consuming than an upgrade, and should provide good performance over Server 2008 R2, and will allow us to upgrade the database to SQL 2012 also.
