Our remote access services site available at https://rdp.rsite.us has been updated to address customer requests and security issues.
We now utilize Microsoft's IIS on the back-end, and the application now supports "secure shell" (SSH) sessions as well as encrypted remote desktop connections on standalone, domain-connected, and Hyper-V virtual machines.
This service is offered as a courtesy to our current and would be customers, and requires that you have an existing server set up for such access be it Windows or Linux; for more information see https://ruggieroav.com/offerings#remote
To add to our security improvements, a randomized hashed URL is generated each time the site is visited; becauce of that, please modify any bookmarks so they simply point to https://rdp.rsite.us/ including the trailing slash. Also, all initial connection attempts ARE logged, and abusive connection attempts against the server itself will be blocked, with no chance of recovery. Please use this service with care.
