Fiber cut leads to network issues

At around 1pm Eastern today, we were notified via our downtime monitors of varying degrees of network connectivity, some peers were completely severed, others were operating at reduced capacity.  The issue was traced to fiber cut in our France datacenter, which also peers with our Newark, NJ DC.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but at this writing the network seems to be recovering and should be improving throughout the night and into Tuesday.  We will monitor of course, and update our announcements appropriately.
