Network reconfiguration overnight.

As some of our customers may have noticed, there was slight (less than 5 minutes total by our records) downtime for our web and application servers due to mandatory network and software updates on our systems.  This comes after the major upgrade of our hosting nodes and VPS instances to Microsoft's Windows Server 2012 R2, as noted on the End of Support announcement on our website.   We still maintain instances of Server 2008 R2 which is in extended support, but we will assist customers in obtaining the proper licenses and upgrading if they wish to move to Microsoft's latest server.

We have one final upgrade to carry out and it will again cause minimal intermittent downtime between tonight, Friday, July 31st, and Monday morning, August 3.  Specifically, mail access and DNS services will be affected.  Any major issues along the way will be noted here, but if there are no problems, consider this the one and only announcement on the subject.  Any problems, our e-mail and support forum will be available.
