Mail services update

To combat the receiving of SPAM by our users, we have installed SpamAssassin filters.  You can read more about SpamAssasin at http://www.spamassassin.org/    Please be aware that SPAM may still sneak by the filters while we are in testing phase.  The best way to combat spam right now on in individual user basis is to set up your own filters in the webmail interface itself.

In addition, we are now running our RAVMAS service on port 22, instead of the standard POP3 port 110.  Please make the change in your e-mail client software.  For example, in Outlook Express, you can choose TOOLS > ACCOUNTS, and double-click the account you wish to change.  Click the SERVERS tab, and change the port used by POP3 from 110 to 22.

Any questions, please respond to this post, or e-mail us.
